Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
